Insulation blow in hoses and insulation removal hoses. A boring subject to write about, however, hoses are the most important piece of equipment in the insulation business. Well…next to the insulation blower, remote, hose clamps, ladders, spray guns, screwdrivers and the list goes on.
Back to it. A few times a month, a customer will ask us how much hose will we bring to their house. Sometimes the customer is caught off hand at our response, but will always bring 150-200′ of host to every job. We really only need about 120′ and the product needs 150′ of hose so the insulation can be conditioned to the perfect fluff for the perfect R-Value.
On larger projects, we will easily bring 300′ of hose to blow in an attic, which is always enough to complete a blown in insulation job.
