This week we had a homeowner that called to us complaining about high humidity and that their home is always dusty. There are many things that will cause a home to get dusty and have high humidity. After inspection, we discovered that they home was not properly air sealed with air sealing foam and there was one small AC duct that was ripped.
The air sealing was 90% of the dust and humidity and we addressed that problem with Soudal Air Sealing Foam.

Cause:
The home was not air seal and had a lot of gaps in the top plates. When we removed the attic insulation, we also discovered large holes between the top plates and we could easily see down the walls.
Correction:
After attic insulation removal, we air sealed the entire home with Soudal Foam Fireblock.
