We almost exclusively use Owens Corning PROPINK L77. Famously associated with the “Pink Panther”. We are able to achieve code values of R-30 and R-38 using Owens Corning PROPINK L77. We are also able to use GreenFiber Cellulose per request, and can easily achieve r-values of R-30 and R-38 and Insulsafe SP if the product is available.

Yes, we do both residential and commercial work. For commercial insulation, we insulation almost anything from warehouses to apartments, condo buildings, town homes, grocery stores, restaurants, open concept buildings, hospitals, medical centers to regular offices.

Batt insulation is usually used for wall cavities, and blown insulation is almost always used in attic spaces. Batt insulation is sometimes used in attics, however; it is more cost effective to use blown-in fiberglass insulation for attics.

R-Value is a measure of resistance to heat flow. Heat always wants to travel from hot to cold. The higher the R-Value in your attic, the more insulation you will have. We suggest that every attic has a minimum of R-30 and at most R-38 of attic insulation in Florida; according the US Department of Energy.

Certainteed is the second largest manufacturer of roofing and building supplies and also features a top-tier brand of insulation. Insulsafe SP is one of 2 brands that we install.  Insulsafe is a little more difficult to acquire as top-tier home builders only use Insulsafe SP or Owens Corning ProPinkl77a.

Most of Florida is currently at an R30 level of insulation. Some counties in Florida now require an R38, we can do both R-Values.

No. PROPINK L77 does not absorb moisture (per ASTM C1104).

No. PROPINK L77 does not support mold growth (per ASTM C1338).

Yes. Most of the time we can easily blow loose-fill insulation onto the cathedral part of the attic. The only time we cannot blow onto the cathedral part of the home is when we have no access, which is rare.

When homes get old, attics will accumulate pollen, debris, animal feces, dirt and other organic matter that will get into the home, and potentially make you sick or trigger your allergies. We can easily remove all the old insulation, sanitize the attic and install new R30 or R38 attic insulation.

Yes, we install spray foam. Spray foam is the best type of insulation and it is a premium to install over blown-in insulation.

Depends on what sounds are transferring and how to building is built. We have done several hundred sound attenuation projects that have reduced the sound from offices, neighbors, garages, etc.

PROPINK L77 is used in new construction and retrofits.

The best way to keep an un-insulated garage cool, it by adding garage attic insulation at R30, and to add garage door insulation. We offer Garage Insulation packages to help keep your garage cooler in the summer, and warmer in the winter.

Yes, the urine smell could be coming from the attic insulation. This only occurs if there was, or is a current rodent infestation in the attic. The attic insulation will need to be removed from home and sanitized.

Many of our customers will put moth balls in the attic to deter pests, animals, rats, etc. Usually this does not work there will be an acidic smell for weeks to months in the house. The only way to stop this smell is to remove all the insulation in your home.

Both are top-tier and both are most expensive loose-fill materials we can purchase. Insulsafe SP is 3-5% more expensive compared to ProPinkL77a.

Certainteed has an every so slight advantage in super hot attics as the material has both medium and long fibers, the drawback is that it takes a more skilled technician to install.

Owens Corning ProPinkL77a is more readily available and is generally what we blow due to ease of application and availability.

We recommend only spraying 2″ of closed cell spray foam in your crawl space. Closed cell spray foam will help reduce moisture into the home and will help keep the house at a better temperature longer.

If we are using Owens Corning ProPinkL77a, R38 is 13.5″. Code in Florida is R30 at a minimum, we always recommend R38 for maximum insulation performance.

Yes, DSV is very safe. Whenever we remove old attic insulation, we spray in DSV to sanitize and freshen up the attic. DSV is a great product to get the attic freshened up after an attic clean up.

Yes, We are able to install attic dehumidifiers with spray foam and crawl space dehumidifiers with full encapsulation. We exclusively use Alorair Dehumidifiers with condensate pumps.

Yes, we recommend air sealing around all bathroom fans. Depending on the size of the gap, we can use mastic or Soudal All-Season Foam. Air sealing will reduce hot air and dust into the home.

We work with some home that have super long driveways or home that have long access paths Most home we use a 150′ hose, but sometimes we do need to use a 250′ or 300′ hose to complete the job.
