We received a call from a Kissimmee homeowner that stated she has hot bedrooms, especially a bedroom in the front of the home. We did a full attic inspection and discovered that they insulation was cellulose. The cellulose insulation was 20 years old, it was broken down, and was at R-12.
It was decided that we will add another 8″ of new Owens Corning ProPinkl77a Fiberglass on top of the current insulation to achieve R38.
