We received a call from a homeowner that complained about 3 bedrooms being very warm and the upstairs just not keeping the cool.
Upon inspection we discovered that the insulation was at an R12 and we needed to achieve R38.
The second item that we discovered was a single AC duct was slightly ripped and letting in hot air humid air from the attic. We inspected all the AC ducts and they were all good. This bedroom that has the small rip in the AC duct was the warmest and the most humid, not to mention dusty.

We added 8″ of new attic insulation in the attic and repair the broke flex duct with mastic and tape.
