Things We Find in an Attic During an Insulation Removal Project
During a insulation removal project, I am always surprised by what we find in an attic. On a second note, I am always surprised when we find no trash or debris in an attic.
Attics can sometimes be “scary”, its a dark place, sharp nails are everywhere, old attics get dirty overtime. My techs always laugh when we find old things in attic like 40 year old beer cans or newspapers that almost crumble due to their age in the attic.
Here is a list and several photos of common and odd things we find in an attic, in no particular order.

- Random articles of clothes

- Pots and Pans

- Old carpet and tile

- Halloween masks
- Old insulation that was never used

- Tapes, Utility, Knives and random tools
Customers will sometimes joke, “If you find any money its mine”. Well, I will tell you this, this most money I have every found in an attic has been less than $2. And its been a nickle here, a few quarters etc. Maybe one day.
