During our Florida summer, a customer called us and complained about his hot garage. He used the garage to work out in, and was a place to do his hobbies. We initially visited his home and measured his garage at a hot 121F at 2pm. We did determine that spray foam would be the best solution for his needs.
We came back in late September and spray foam his garage and did a measurement, and is garage was only 89F, or 2F above ambient.

Cause:
No attic insulation or spray foam in the garage.
Correction:
We added 5.5″ of spray foam insulation into the garage attic system. Adding spray foam significantly cooled the attic system.
