What is R30 attic insulation and what does it look like? R30 is a level of attic insulation that is required to be blown into an attic in Central Florida. When using Owens Corning ProPinkL77a, R30 is 10.5″ and is a great level to achieve.
When we blow in an R30 using Owens Corning ProPink, we achieve a minimum of 10.5″ through out the attic. When we blow in an attic, we use the Krendl 2800G, which is a gas powered insulation blower.
