Concern:
AC duct condensation. Second issue upon inspection was attic insulation was at R9, not R38 as it should be.
Cause:
Duct boot flex duct was only attached by a few threads, missing zip tie, missing inner mastic, missing outer mastic and not completing a proper seal.
Correction:
We properly sealed AC duct with mastic and zip tie. We added R30 Owens Corning ProPinkL77a to the entire home.
