AA2 Radiant Wall Barrier is a product made by Fi-Foil (Auburndale, Florida) and is an alternative to foam board, foam and batting insulation. AA2 is a great alternative to these products for a few reasons. In many cases, it is a little less expensive, easy to install and in some situations you do not have an alternative other than AA2 radiant barrier.
AA2 is one of the product lines within wall barrier products. You can easily achieve from R3 to R5.2 when using AA2, and the other benefit is that AA2 works as a vapor barrier. Fi-Foil offers both perforated and non-perforated depending on the application.
