We received a call from a landlord that has a Kissimmee, Florida rental with tenant that were complaining about the AC not being able to get below 80F in the summer. The tentants also stated that the electric bill in the summer is $330 a month in the summer.

Concern:
Home does not cool below 80F in the summer and high electric bills.
Cause:
Upon inspection, we discovered that the AC ducts were perfectly sealed with mastic, however the existing fiberglass insulation was at a R6-R8.
Correction:
We arrived to the home, performed a second ac duct inspection, inspection passed and then added R32 of Owens Corning ProPink L77a to the attic system. We achieved a final R38 Level of insulation.
